- Climate: Barren wastelands and mountainous regions make up most of Carl’s terrain, which probably explains why only the most hardy and strong of races can withstand living in Carl.
- Description: Carl is a country that is so loosely tied together that it could hardly be called a country, with only the threat of retaliation and the desolate land it sits on to deter anyone from taking it over. Carl is almost entirely inhabited by monstrous races, who form clans and constantly fight each other for land. In-fighting is commonplace, and many warlords gain control and lose control of Carl on a regular basis. Most of Carl’s population hire themselves out as bounty hunters and mercenaries when they aren’t fighting each other, and that is Carl’s main export. Only time will tell what Carl will do with all of their raw power, and what will happen to the country.
- Government: No centralized government, but individual clans owns parts of Carl for short periods of time. The only true power in Carl is won during the Pax Magnus, a huge gladiatorial championship where the winner is declared Ruler of Carl…until he is slain. At this moment the Ruler of Carl is a surface Drow by the name of Darkalos.
